Not as wide as I thought at the
toes and heel seemed to be wide.Extremely comfortable, This
shoe is so much nicer than the gymshoes I wear to commute to
and from work. They are a good walking shoe, and look good
with my career-wear attire. I love Softspots for their comfort
and quality. I ordered the Stephanie flat because it looks a
little dressier than the typical Softspots but would still be
reasonably comfortable. The shoe is narrow at the front of the
shoe which forced me to go up a half a size. But now the shoe
feels comfortable. It's also nicely padded inside. Ordered
this shoe to wear with dress slacks and for comfort. First
ordered this shoe in bone color in size 8 which felt tight,
more like a 7-1/2. Returned it and ordered an 8-1/2 and when
it arrived, it was too big, more like a size 9. If one size is
tight, you would expect a half size larger to be about right,
not so large that you have to stuff them with extra insoles.
And they're supposed to be narrow, but I also had to put extra
"heel liners" in to try to snug up the heels. Like the style,
find their sizing very frustrating. |
