I already owned this shoe in
another color; therefore, I knew the fit and the feel before I
made the purchase. I have difficulty finding the correct
length/width combination. 8 1/2 Super Slim works for me. The
pump is between dressy and casual---I'd like something
dressier, but this will work with many dress clothes without
sacrificing comfort and proper fit. Wears this shoe: Sundays,
with dresses and pantsuits for all but truly dressy occassions
The cushioning inside these shoes and the height of the heel
were especially important, as I have an Achilles tendon
problem in one foot. I would prefer a slightly wider toe area
(the reason for the less-than-perfect score,) but these are
very satisfactory for my less-than-perfect feet. Wears this
shoe: At work I am on my feet all day. Will also wear them for
dressier occasions. I purchased this style as it is a good
looking shoe to wear with slacks. It is comfortable for
walking. I am enjoying very much. The Stephanie runs small, so
if you buy it, be sure to order a size larger or maybe go
wider. I usually take a 9 M, but if ordering again, I would
probably order a 9.5 W.
I was looking for a dressy but
comfortable shoe and I was very pleased with how this shoe
fits and looks. This is my first experience with Softspots, I
highly recommend this brand for the fit, style and width. I
recently had two surgeries on my foot, so I needed a shoe with
good arch support and comfort. The heel and arch areas are
wonderful! The shoes did not aggravate any surgical pain. The
only complaint I have is the toe seemed very narrow. Of
course, I've been in sneakers for about 6 months, so my
perception of narrow could be off a little. |
