I had a pair of white Softspots
Tela for two or three years and had worn them out. The elastic
was about to break on both shoes by the straps. When I started
looking for another pair in the stores I couldn't find them. I
decided to try ShoeBuy.com and was thrilled to find them. I am
having a little problem breaking them in so they are
comfortable. This was the same with my old pair though. I am
thinking that Softspot just makes comfortable shoes. They are
a hurache style that goes well with pants and casual skirts.
If you are leaning betweeen widths W or WW get the WW. The
have a lot of give but where they come together at the cross
over, it could restrict. Excelllent cushioning for the ball of
the foot. I was looking for a cushy, soft leather sandal, and
I ordered this one based on previous reviews. I found the
leather to be very rough on the inside, and the toe area too
narrow for my foot. I also expected a bit more padding.
I have ordered 3 pairs of these
sandals in the last 2 months in black, navy and tan. They are
very comfortable and I have a pair to go with all my summer
pants and skirts. I have had such a limited selection of
narrow width shoes that I ordered this style with little real
expectation. It is such a good fit and is so comfortable! |
