I have had this brand of shoe
before. They are extremely comfortable and wear well. My foot
borders between 8 1/2 & 9, but I found the 9s to be not only
too big, they also seemed alittle wider. Though I have a
narrow hard to fit foot I find them super comfy and they
really need not be broken in, they are comfortable from the
start. I had a pair of Mary Jane Softspots that lasted five
years. I went in search of a replacement to no avail, but
these have filled the void nicely. They're the first pair of
shoes I've purchased in two years that feel great straight out
of the box. The fit is really nice and felt great right out
the box. The shoes are A little too wide in A 2X, but A wide
wasn't wide enough. Very very comfortable. They look really
great with skirts and jeans
I bought this shoe to wear at
work. I am on my feet all day. There is a lot of soft padding
inside the shoe, so thinner socks are better. If you have a
high instep, you may not like the T-strap. I am a 7 1/2
regular width, and they were very comfortable from the first
time I wore them. I am disabled and can only walk with a cane,
but not very far. Softspots Avenue is the only shoe I can wear
comfortably. I own all three colors and I wish they made this
shoe in navy and pewter for dressy occasions. I wanted
something comfortable because I walk on a lot of concrete at
work, but don't need a work boot. I can wear these shoes with
heavier socks for warmth. The toe box is a little larger than
I need, but they don't look like clown shoes. I would buy
Softspots shoes again. |
